THE Zimbabwe Women’s National cricket team will face the United States of America in a Five-One-Day International (ODI) series from the 17th to the 28th of October.
As part of their preparations for the USA tour, the Lady Chevrons will play regional matches where they are divided into two teams, the Southerns and Northerns.
The regional games, scheduled for the 8th, 10th, and 12th of this month, will serve as a selection platform for the final squad to face the visiting USA team.
The regional matches will provide valuable game time for the players, allowing coaches to assess their performance and finalise the squad for the ODI series.
The five-match ODI series against USA will take place from the 17th to the 28th of this month, marking the second time Zimbabwe will face the Americans on home soil.
The series comes on the back of Zimbabwe’s last ODI series in January, where the Lady Chevrons hosted Ireland in a three-match series.
