HIGHLANDERS FC have strengthened their technical department with the appointment of performance analyst Culvin Mavunga, as the club moves to bolster its backroom staff.
The club confirmed the development, with Mavunga bringing a wealth of experience, including previous roles with Ngezi Platinum Stars, Tanzanian giants Simba SC and the Zimbabwe national football team.
The appointment comes just a week after head coach Benjani Mwaruwari raised concerns over limited technical support, particularly in the recruitment of staff and key players.
Mavunga’s addition is seen as a step towards addressing those concerns, signalling improved alignment between the club’s administration and the technical team as Highlanders seek to enhance performance on and off the pitch.
