From pain to purpose, the liberation of letting go

Article by Princess Kelelo PM Dhlamini Skade

In life, we often find ourselves holding on to things that no longer serve us. We hold on to past hurts, to painful memories, and to relationships that have long since expired. We hold on to fears, to doubts, and to limitations that prevent us from realizing our full potential.

But holding on to these things can be incredibly draining. It can weigh us down, drain our energy, and prevent us from moving forward. It’s like carrying a heavy burden on our shoulders, a burden that we can’t seem to shake no matter how hard we try.

In fact, research has shown that holding on to painful experiences can actually have a negative impact on our physical health. Chronic stress, anxiety, and depression can all be linked to painful experiences that we hold on to. For example, studies have shown that people who have experienced trauma are more likely to develop chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Furthermore, holding on to painful experiences can also have spiritual disadvantages. When we allow people who have hurt us in the past to continue being in our lives, we can create a toxic spiritual environment that can drain our energy and prevent us from moving forward.

In many spiritual traditions, it is believed that when we hold on to painful experiences, we can create a kind of “energetic cord” that connects us to the person or situation that caused us harm. This cord can continue to drain our energy and prevent us from moving forward, even if we are no longer in contact with the person or situation.

In some cases, holding on to painful experiences can even be a form of witchcraft. When we allow negative emotions such as anger, resentment, and bitterness to consume us, we can create a kind of “curse” that can affect not only ourselves, but also those around us.

See, for example, imagine a person who has been hurt by a past lover. Instead of letting go of the pain and moving on, they hold on to it, replaying the hurtful memories over and over again in their mind. This can create a kind of “energetic cord” that connects them to the past lover, preventing them from moving forward and creating a toxic spiritual environment.

You may experience a range of negative symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and even physical illness. They may also find it difficult to form healthy relationships with others, as the energetic cord to the past lover continues to drain their energy and prevent them from moving forward.

Another example of witchcraft caused by bitterness and not letting go is the case of a person who has been wronged by a family member or friend. Instead of forgiving the person and moving on, they hold on to the anger and resentment, allowing it to consume them.

Here are the examples of witchcraft caused by bitterness in sentence form:

Bitterness and resentment can manifest as physical

illness and disease, such as arthritis or fibromyalgia, which can be a form of self-inflicted witchcraft.

When we harbor bitterness and resentment towards someone, we can unknowingly send negative energy their way, affecting their well-being and circumstances.

Bitterness can attract toxic relationships into our lives, perpetuating a cycle of hurt and pain.

By expecting the worst from people and situations, we can create a self-fulfilling prophecy that reinforces our negative beliefs and manifests as witchcraft.

Bitterness can block the flow of abundance and prosperity in our lives, preventing us from receiving the good things we desire.

When we’re consumed by bitterness, we can damage our spiritual connection, making it harder to connect with our higher selves, the universe, and other people. Bitterness and resentment can manifest as accidents and mishaps, such as car accidents or slips and falls. As a result, the person may experience a range of negative symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and even physical illness. They may also find it difficult to form healthy relationships with others, as the anger and resentment continue to drain their energy and prevent them from moving forward.

In some cases, the person may even use their anger and resentment and abusive dynamics in their relationships. Witchcraft, where the person is using their negative energy to harm others.

In order to break free from this kind of witchcraft, it is necessary to let go of the painful experiences and create a new, positive spiritual environment. This can involve practices such as meditation, prayer, and energy healing, as well as seeking support from loved ones, therapists, or spiritual advisors.

It can also involve taking steps to forgive and release the people who have hurt us, and to create healthy boundaries in our relationships. This can be a difficult and challenging process, but it is ultimately necessary for our spiritual growth and well-being.

it’s also very important to recognize that holding on to painful experiences can also affect our mental health. It can lead to depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. It’s essential to seek professional help if we’re struggling with these emotions.

Holding on to painful experiences can have serious physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences. By letting go of these experiences and creating a new, positive spiritual environment, we can break free from the toxic patterns of the past and move forward into a brighter, more loving future.

Ultimately, it’s up to us to take control of our lives and create the future we desire. We have the power to let go of the things that are holding us back and move forward. We have the power to create positive change in our lives and in the world. So, let’s take the first step today and start creating the life we’ve always wanted. By letting go of the past and creating a new, positive spiritual environment, we can break free from the toxic patterns of the past and move forward into a brighter, more loving future. We can create a life that is filled with purpose, meaning, and joy. We can create a life that is truly our own.

So, let’s take that faith, and let go!
