DeMbare prepare for second leg against ZESCO United

Story by Lawrence Trusida, Sports Editor

Harare giants, Dynamos, are hoping to continue with the good form when they face ZESCO United of Zambia in the reverse fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round set for the Levi Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia this Saturday.

DeMbare are halfway through to the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup after edging ZESCO United one-nil in the first leg played in Gaborone.

With the runners-up from Zambia having home advantage this Saturday, the task does not get easier for the Harare giants.

Dynamos however are bullish and are going all out to silence ZESCO who are undefeated in their own turf in the last 12 matches.

“It is a new game altogether and we know they are going to have a huge backing from their fans and we know their record as well, but we have done our homework as a club and we want to go there and silence the club and show that this is Dynamos and we are back where we belong,” said Dynamos interim coach, Llyod Chigowe.

The Harare giants have a one-nil aggregate advantage and a draw will see them going to the first round of the Confederation Cup.

DeMbare have no injury worries in camp and have called in Emmanuel Paga and Arthur Musiiwa to join the team in Zambia after they missed the first leg last week.

The Harare giants who have been training in Botswana will proceed straight to Zambia for the encounter set for Saturday.
