The Citizens Against Economic Sanctions Zimbabwe says it is ready to promote President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 towards the unconditional removal of illegal sanctions imposed on the country by the United States and its Western allies.
In a media briefing in Harare this Wednesday, the association’s managing director, Cde Martin Zharare rallied progressive citizens to embrace Vision 2030 aspirations.
“We are an anti-sanctions lobby group, and we are ready to promote President Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 to achieve an upper middle class society,” he said.
“We will continue to call for the total removal of sanctions by the West on Zimbabwe and until the Zimbabwe Democracy Economic Recovery Act, ZIDERA is repealed, we cannot talk of removal of sanctions, they must go in totality.
“We have the same situation with South Africa on land issue, and USA President Donald Trump threatened the people of South Africa with sanctions for taking back their land, it’s uncalled for.”
