The China International Press Communication Centre (CIPCC) 2024 Program opened today in Beijing China.
CIPCC director, Lei Yu, told participants that the four-month programme is primarily meant to foster close media cooperation between China and the developing world.
Director Lei said 94 journalists from 84 countries, including 24 from Africa are part of the programme.
Journalists from Africa are under the CIPCC ‘s China Africa Press Centre 2024 Programme.
The programme participants will have a chance to learn and comprehend more about China and also help tell the Chinese story to the rest of the world.
The CIPCC will hold lectures on Chinese socio-economic development, diplomacy, culture, science and technology, and provide training on journalism and internship in China’s media and other programmes.
