ZIMBABWE endured another tough day in the second test against New Zealand as the visitors continued their dominance to conclude the second day with a 476-run lead at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo this Friday.
New Zealand have never lost to Zimbabwe in the 18 tests they have faced each other, and the visitors clearly played like a team with a perfect record against their opponents.
The Islanders created a batting paradise in Bulawayo, while the hosts’ bowlers were chasing ghosts.
Rachin Ravindra, Henry Nicholls and Devon Conway all scored more than 150 runs to signal their dominance on a sunny day in Bulawayo.
Zimbabwe only managed to bag two wickets on the second day as New Zealand ended on 601 for 3.
Blessing Muzarabani, Trevor Gwandu and Vincent Masekesa with a wicket each in more than 120 overs clearly showed how the hosts struggled with the ball in hand.
The Chevrons are in deep trouble and baring any magic or the unthinkable, Zimbabwe will lose their sixth test in a row.
