FOLLOWING the success of the First Edition of the Bulawayo Piano Festival last year, the Second Edition of the event has been organised and is set for the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) main arena on April 12.
The First Edition saw local artists showcasing their skills in the trending musical genre.
However, the Second Edition is expected to be bigger and better as organisers have roped in South African Amapiano music stars to be part of the headlining acts.
“The Second Edition will be headlined by the likes of Dj Maphorisa, Scott Maphuma, and Leemckrazy,” the organiser, Jordan Dube said.
On the local front, the likes of Umlungu Omnyama, DJ Sida, among other Amapiano artists, are also set to perform.
“Zimbabwean artists set to perform at the Bulawayo Piano Fest including the likes of Umlungu Omnyama and DJ Sida,” Dube said.
The Bulawayo Piano Festival was conceptualised last year in an effort to promote the growth of Amapiano music in Zimbabwe.
