Botswana’s newly-elected President, Duma Boko, is expected to announce his new Cabinet today.
He was inaugurated as the country’s sixth President on Friday after his party, the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), defeated the governing Botswana Democratic Party ( BDP) in the October 30 elections.
Speaking to the SABC News in Gaborone, Boko says he is humbled by people trusting him with the responsibility to lead the country.
He says he will ensure that the challenges of the economy are addressed.
