PAKISTAN women’s national cricket team and Zimbabwe women’s national cricket team have unveiled the trophy for their upcoming white-ball series, with the first One-Day International (ODI) set for Monday at National Bank Stadium.
Zimbabwe’s Lady Chevrons interim captain Nomvelo Sibanda and Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana led the ceremony on Sunday, marking the start of a six-match tour.
The series is a historic milestone for the Lady Chevrons, who are touring Pakistan for the first time.
The schedule begins with three ODIs this Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, followed by three T20Is on May 12, 14 and 15.
Pakistan head into the series with a strong record, having won 21 matches against Zimbabwe, who have registered four victories.
However, the contest carries significant weight for both sides. The ODIs will contribute points towards the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-2029, offering Zimbabwe a chance to strengthen its standing in the premier 50-over competition.
For Pakistan, the T20I leg will serve as key preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The series is expected to provide a competitive platform for both teams as they pursue key international objectives.
