PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa held talks with DP World Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit, underscoring Zimbabwe’s engagement with global logistics and infrastructure leaders.
DP World, headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is one of the world’s leading port operators and logistics providers, managing approximately 10 percent of global container traffic across operations in more than 80 countries.
Established in 2005, the company operates at least 60 terminals, economic zones and maritime service facilities worldwide. Its business model focuses on integrated, end-to-end supply chain solutions, linking production centres directly to consumer markets.
The meeting comes as Zimbabwe continues to pursue strategic partnerships with international players in logistics, trade facilitation and infrastructure development, in line with efforts to enhance competitiveness and strengthen its role in regional and global value chains.
