INDIA secured their place in the semi-finals of the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup with a commanding 58-run victory over Pakistan in the final Super Six clash at Queens Sports Club on Sunday.

The five-time champions set a challenging target of 253, which proved too strong for Pakistan, with India’s bowlers delivering crucial breakthroughs at key moments to seal the win.

Vedant Trivedi’s patient 68-run knock laid the foundation for India’s total, while Kanishk Chouhan and Khilan Patel’s quickfire 50-run stand provided the final flourish.

India’s unbeaten run in the tournament continues, with wins over the USA, Bangladesh, New Zealand and Zimbabwe in the group stage.

This win marks India’s progression to the semi-finals, where they have joined defending champions Australia, Afghanistan and England.

India is set to be the force to be reckoned with, as they have the most titles.

The semi-finals are scheduled to kick off on Tuesday.
