WARRIORS defender Brendan Galloway says Zimbabwe are fully prepared to seize a historic opportunity when they face South Africa in their final Africa Cup of Nations Group B match in Morocco this Monday evening.
Victory would guarantee Zimbabwe a place in the knockout stages for the first time in their AFCON history, and Galloway believes the team’s mindset and preparations have put them in a strong position to deliver.
He said the mood in camp remains positive, with players fully aware of the significance of the match.
South Africa’s pedigree and experience at AFCON are well established, but the Warriors defender insisted Zimbabwe will approach the contest with respect rather than fear.
The Group B encounter is a decisive one, with Zimbabwe knowing that victory will secure progression beyond the group stage and mark a landmark moment in the national team’s AFCON journey.
