KEY players Knowledge Musona and Tymon Machope will miss Zimbabwe’s upcoming international friendlies against Algeria and Qatar after picking up injuries.
To fill the gaps, Warriors head coach Marian Mario Marinica has called up defender Isheanesu Mauchi and midfielder Tivonge Rushesha.
The changes provide Coach Marinica with an opportunity to assess new talent and fine-tune his squad ahead of the upcoming matches.
Khama Billiat has been left out of the squad “for personal reasons,” according to ZIFA.
Zimbabwe will face Algeria on Thursday in Saudi Arabia, before taking on Qatar a few days later.
The two friendlies are expected to offer a stern test for the Warriors as they continue their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco next month.
