THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has officially announced the mutual separation with national team coach Avram Grant, bringing an end to his nearly three-year tenure in charge of the Chipolopolo.
In a statement released by FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande, the association confirmed the decision was reached amicably.
“The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has agreed to mutually separate with Zambia Senior Men’s National Team coach Avram Grant. The two parties agreed to mutually separate, with FAZ wishing Mr Grant the best of luck in his future endeavours.”
Grant was appointed in 2022 and oversaw back-to-back AFCON qualifications.
Zambia are in Group A alongside Morocco, Mali and Comoros at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
