Zimbabwe continues to make a mark in the pageantry circles with the latest being Amanda Peresu Moyo who is in high spirits after bagging the continental title at the recently held Miss Intercontinental pageant held in Egypt.
The ravishing beauty Amanda Peresu is among the Top five winners at the contest where more than 50 beauty queens from around the globe participated.
Peresu could not hide her joy after she was crowned Miss Intercontinental Africa, a title which was last won by Tendai Hunda in 2015.
“I am beyond excited and honoured to have carried the Zimbabwe name and brought back home the African title. We are home to the continental crown of Africa. I would like to express my gratitude to the Miss Intercontinental organisation, both nationally and internationally. Finally, Zimbabwe, I’d like to thank you for the love and support you showed me throughout the journey,” said Peresu.
The star, an Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering student is not new on the pageantry stage after bagging the Miss Teen Ecotourism World 2022 crown and has high hopes for more successful ventures in her career.
“From being Miss Teen Ecotourism World to being Miss Intercontinental Africa, you have continued to support me through my pageantry journey. And with that, I’d like to thank you and express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart. We did it yet again. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us,” she said.
Puerto Rico’s Maria Cepero was the overall winner and was crowned Miss Intercontinental.
