Namibian President, Dr Nangolo Mbumba met with President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the State House this Friday ahead of the 44th SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government.
The two leaders discussed the historic relationship between Zimbabwe and Namibia as was disclosed by the Namibia President Dr Nangolo Mbumba after emerging from a closed door meeting.
He said Zimbabwe has always been supportive of Namibia and has worked in solidarity with the Namibian people.
Dr Nangolo Mbumba expressed gratitude for the help his country received from Zimbabwe during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
President Mbumba said Namibia looks forward to President Mnangagwa’s dynamic leadership as he assumes the SADC chairmanship.
