CHINA has congratulated Zimbabwe on its 45th Independence Anniversary, pledging to always seek ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
In a statement, China’s Foreign Minister, Mr Wang Yi said his country enjoys profound traditional friendship with Zimbabwe.
“The important consensus between our two presidents, firms up mutual support, with a view to further enhance the China-Zimbabwe comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation and jointly building a high-level China-Zimbabwe community with a shared future,” he said.
He said since the establishment of diplomatic ties 45 years ago, Zimbabwe and China have always treated each other as equals and stayed committed to mutually beneficial friendship.
