THE Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) says it has received numerous calls from across the world seeking guidance on how to report rape, assault, and fraud allegations against PHD Ministries leader, Walter Magaya.

In a statement, Police Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the ZRP has made available dedicated phone lines to facilitate the reporting and investigation of the allegations.

“Please take note that the Zimbabwe Republic Police has availed cellphone number 0776 830 226, National Complaints Number (0242) 703631, and WhatsApp number 0712 800 197 for anyone to freely report and allow the Zimbabwe Republic Police to conduct investigations,” said Commissioner Nyathi.

Commissioner Nyathi urged victims and witnesses in Zimbabwe and abroad, including South Africa, the United Kingdom, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, and Zambia, to come forward and report through the provided communication channels.

For those based in South Africa, he advised that reports can be made through local police stations or via the Zimbabwean Embassy.

The ZRP further warned that interfering with ongoing investigations constitutes a criminal offence and that appropriate action will be taken against anyone found obstructing justice.

Commissioner Nyathi reaffirmed the ZRP’s commitment to conducting thorough and professional investigations, assuring the public that all reports will be handled with confidentiality and sensitivity.
