ZPC Hwange have been promoted to the Premier Soccer League after taking an unassailable 14-point lead in the Southern Region Division One League.
The side that had missed promotion by a whisker in the last two seasons finally got it right this current campaign after walloping Indlovu Iyanyathela three-nil on Friday to take their point tally to 67.
Second-placed Casymn were held to a goalless draw by Talen Vision this Saturday leaving them without chance of catching up with ZPC Hwange in the remaining four matches.
Meanwhile in other regions the battle for promotion is still on with the top two sides in the Northern Region MWOS and Scottland separated by a single point while in the Central Region Kwekwe United and Tongogara are separated by three points.
In the Eastern Region Wangu Mazodze have a bit of a breathing space with Tenax five points behind.
