Zimbabwe to hosts Gospel music extravaganza

RENOWNED Nigerian gospel music artists, Ebuka Songs and Soumisola Agbebi are set to perform in Zimbabwe for the first time at the 2025 edition of the Relentless Worship Concert in August.

The praise and worship event, an annual gathering convened by the United Family International Church (UFIC), is a critical platform that showcases local and regional talent through enhanced collaboration.

Gospel musician Michael Mahendere looks ahead with optimism as the spotlight shines on Zimbabwe.

“I’m so excited and I think we are sharing the vision of the Woman of God. We are going to have Soumisola, what a grace. We also have Ebuka’s songs,” he said.

Minister Mahendere also noted that this is an opportunity to build relationships, as local gospel talent will perform at the family-friendly event.

“I am also going to be there, worshipper Larry Gunda will be there, and the line is just loaded. We are going to have an explosive event this year,” he added.

The participation of regional greats at this year’s Relentless Worship Concert is expected to provide a critical platform to showcase Zimbabwe and further cement religious tourism, a key area that has positively promoted the country’s brand.
