THE Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) has released the 2025 Ordinary Level examination results, recording a national pass rate of 35 percent, continuing a steady upward trend over the past three years.
The latest outcome marks the third consecutive annual improvement in performance, rising from 29.4 percent in 2023 to 33.5 percent in 2024, before reaching 35 percent this year.
A total of 302 066 students sat for the examinations last year.

ZIMSEC Board Chairperson, Professor Paul Mapfumo, confirmed that candidates would be able to begin accessing their results online from 4pm on Friday via the ZIMSEC results portal.
He added that schools would be able to collect the official results schedules from Monday.
