Zim positions itself as a competitive tourism hub at World Travel Market Africa

ZIMBABWE is making a significant impact at the World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2025, underway at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

Led by the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry and the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, the country’s delegation features 15 key industry players showcasing their offerings.

With a focus on reconnecting with established markets, opening new ones, and enhancing its profile as a competitive destination, Zimbabwe’s participation aims to drive tourism growth.

The WTM Africa 2025, which features 96 participating countries, has generated significant interest in Zimbabwe’s other tourist attractions, including Kariba, Mana Pools, and the Eastern Highlands, drawing in buyers looking for unique and off-the-beaten-path experiences.

The upcoming Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo, scheduled for Mutare from September 10-12, 2025, is also sparking considerable interest among buyers at the WTM Africa, showcasing Zimbabwe’s compelling tourism offerings and demonstrating its readiness to engage with the global travel market.
