ZANU PF takes campaign trail to Redcliff

Story by Tafara Chikumira

The ruling ZANU PF has taken its voter mobilisation drive to Redcliff constituency, where the party’s National Assembly candidate Honourable July Moyo launched his election campaign.

Thousands of people gathered at Rutendo stadium in Redcliff, Kwekwe, as ZANU PF aspiring legislator for the area, Honourable July Moyo launched his election campaign.
ZANU PF Secretary for Security, Cde Owen Ncube urged the electorate to choose a tried and tested leader who will take the second republic’s inclusive development agenda to the next level.

“The time is now for the people of Redcliff to choose wisely. Right now, you have perennial problems of water and bad roads. This will be a thing of the past if you choose Cde Moyo as your representative. He is a man of action and it’s time you dump comedians for your representatives. Cde Moyo has been in the system for long and he has the answers for all your problems,” said Hon Ncube.

The event was also graced by the ZANU PF Midlands Provincial Vice Chairperson, Cde Edison Chiherenge.

“The President’s development trajectory is very clear. The roads are being rehabilitated, dams are being constructed and we are all witnessing massive development. This can only continue if we vote him back into power as well as his team including Cde Moyo. Cde Moyo is not new in this area, and you all know the kind of a man he is. He is the only person who can bring about development in this area,” noted Cde Chiherenge.

The ruling ZANU PF party is on the campaign trail with the focus on getting at least five million votes in the general elections set for the 23rd of August.
