THE ZANU PF Matabeleland South Provincial leadership convened in Insiza on Sunday to provide feedback to grassroots structures on the 22nd National People’s Conference held in Mutare in October.
The visit highlighted the ruling party’s strong ties with its grassroots networks and aimed to communicate decisions and directives emerging from the national conference.
ZANU PF Matabeleland South Provincial Chairperson, Cde Mangaliso Ndlovu, emphasised the leadership’s commitment to delivering on the party’s promises under President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s guidance.
“There has never been a President who works so hard like President Mnangagwa and the nation is right to call him to stay beyond 2028 .So we came here to give you feedback on what transpired at the conference and as a party being guided by the President, we will continue to deliver what we promised you,” he said.
The provincial leadership also reflected on preparations for the 2026 Independence Day celebrations and ongoing development initiatives.
“We have seen massive development in our province and we want to thank the President for that. He is worried on the number of people from Matabeleland South graduating from Gwanda state university, he directed us to construct 40 science laboratories so that our children learn science subjects,” Cde Ndlovu added
The Insiza engagement forms part of a broader provincial outreach programme, aimed at briefing all constituencies in Matabeleland South on the outcomes of the national conference and aligning local development efforts with national priorities.
