A Zimbabwean actress based in the United States of America, Sibongile Mlambo is scaling dizzy heights after being cast in the final season of the popular US thriller series, ‘The Blacklist’.
The talented actress, who launched her acting career at the age of seven when she was cast to play the role of Bongi in Idrissa Ouedraogo’s drama series film ‘Kini and Adams’, takes up a prominent role on NBC’s ‘The Blacklist’ final season.
The actress plays the role of Young Aissa Joachim.
Mlambo gained recognition as an actress in 2016 when she starred as Assatu in ‘The Last Face’ alongside Charlize Theron.
She is also famed for her roles in Netflix’s ‘Lost Space’, another Netflix series ‘Florida Man,’ the Starz historical adventure television series ‘Black Sails’ which won an Emmy award, ‘Honey 3’, ‘Afrika is a Country’ and French and South-African collaboration “Ladygrey”.
‘The Blacklist’ is a thriller television series that premiered on NBC in 2013, with its finale set for the 13th of July this year.
