DIPLOMATS have commended Zimbabwe’s economic policies and initiatives being implemented by the second republic stating these blueprints are critical to promoting investments.
Zimbabwe is endowed with a vast number of minerals, with agriculture playing a critical role in the development of the country Zimbabwe has presented itself as a conducive destination for investment globally.
Diplomats that attended the third edition of the Zimbabwe Diplomats Forum which was held in Bulawayo this Thursday lauded policies and initiatives being put in place by the second republic to attract direct foreign investments.
Under the second republic, the government has taken various steps towards creating ease of doing business.
“Under the second republic, we looked and realized that we need to be competitive worldwide in terms of attracting global capital to our country. In doing so we looked at ways of easing the doing the business and lowering the cost of doing business,” said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Dr David Musabayana.
The ZITF Diplomat’s Forum is organised in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
