Team Zimbabwe gears up for COSSASA games

TEAM Zimbabwe for the Confederation of School Sport Associations of Southern Africa (COSSASA) games will set up a four-day bonding camp in Bulawayo ahead of departure to Eswatini next week.

National Association of Primary Heads (NAPH) President, Boniface Munyenyiwa said it is all systems go for team Zimbabwe.

“We have selected our teams and we are going to assemble in Bulawayo at Hillside Junior Primary School for a bonding camp ahead of departure. We are confident we will represent the country well.”

The primary level athletes will set base at Hillside Junior School, while secondary school athletes will group at Northlea High School ahead of departure pencilled for 23 August.

Zimbabwe will send 485 athletes to compete in various disciplines, with South Africa, Lesotho and hosts, Eswatini participating in a sporting fiesta set for Somhlolo Stadium.
