Story by Peter Chivhima

THE government has granted permission for schools to conduct vacation lessons for Grade seven, Form four, and Upper six examination classes during the August 2025 holiday.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education this Thursday, the government said the vacation window from 18 to 29 August aims to offer affordable academic support, particularly for disadvantaged learners.

According to the ministry, schools will charge US$2 per subject for Grade seven pupils, US$3 per subject for Form fours, and US$5 per subject for those in Upper six.

Boarders will pay an extra US$5 per day for their upkeep.
