ZIMBABWEAN cricketers are making waves on the global franchise stage, with all-rounder Ryan Burl securing a deal with Lahore Qalandars ahead of the Pakistan Super League season.
The defending champions confirmed Burl as their last addition for the season, taking their roster to 20 players.
The 31-year-old becomes the second Zimbabwean in the squad, linking up with national T20 captain Sikandar Raza.
The move comes after Zimbabwe’s strong showing at the T20 World Cup, which has sparked increased interest in local talent across major leagues.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett has secured a franchise deal with Peshawar Zalmi, further underlining the growing appeal of Zimbabwean players on the global stage.
