PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa will headline the historic launch of A1 Productivity Booster Kits and Land Tenure Title Deeds at Craigengower Farm in Mazowe this Monday.
The launch of the irrigation booster kits is a national priority being undertaken by the government to build climate resilience, enhance food security, and transition from rain-fed agriculture.
The programme targets improving A1 farmers’ agricultural production capacity through efficient utilisation of water resources and irrigation equipment.
The irrigation booster kits, which comprise pumping units, electric motors, pumps, hydrants, and sprinklers, among other items, will benefit farmers as individuals and in groups.
Title deeds will be issued to scores of A1 farmers on the day, heralding a new chapter of land ownership and empowerment by the Second Republic.
The historic event is running under the theme, ‘Empowering Farmers, Securing Land, Building the Economy.’
