President Mnangagwa departs Russia for Belarus

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has left Moscow, Russia, for Belarus where he is set to embark on an official visit.

The head of state was in Russia to attend the 80th Victory Day celebrations held on Friday where he joined several world leaders who were in attendance.

President Mnangagwa later hosted Zimbabwean students studying at various universities in Russia before concluding his tour of duty with a bilateral engagement with President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin Palace.

The two leaders concurred on the need to deepen existing bilateral ties for the benefit of the two countries.
