PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has arrived in Shenzhen, China, ahead of a state visit and the Forum on China-Africa cooperation (FOCAC).
The President was received at the Shenzhen Baon International Airport by Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to China, Ms Abigail Shonhiwa and Shenzhen vice mayor, Mr Lou Huanghao.
Ahead of the state visit, the President is expected to tour some companies in Shenzhen this Friday.
The state visit will see President Mnangagwa touring different provinces within the Asian country, namely Guangdong, Jiangsu, Beijing and Hunan Province.
The visit serves to further cement the already strong ties between Harare and Beijing, whose relations cut across economic and social sectors.
