WITH the country set to hold by-elections on February 3, candidates vying for the Pelandaba-Tshabalala constituency seat are already on the ground mobilising for support.
With the Pelandaba-Tshabalala Constituency confronted by issues of poor service delivery, including poor roads and youth unemployment, the four candidates vying for the seat are already laying the groundwork to garner votes, come February 3.
“My campaign strategy is simple, it is based on promoting development and creation of more opportunities for new and upcoming businesses,” said Joseph Tshuma of ZANU PF.
“My vision is very simple is centered on promoting youth empowerment because the youth of Zimbabwe has so much potential that needs nurturing,” said DOP candidate Abraham Nkomo.
Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) candidates Gift Siziba and Moreblessing Tembo refused to share their manifestos.
The February 3 by-elections will be held in six constituencies, including Mkoba North, Zvimba East, Chegutu West, Goromonzi South, Seke, and Pelandaba-Tshabalala and were necessitated by recalls of CCC legislators.
