Former Warriors coach Kalisto Pasuwa has been appointed head coach of the Malawi National team.
The highly successful coach will be in charge of the Flames for the next two years, as confirmed by the Football Association of Malawi (FAM).
The former Dynamos coach has been leading the Flames on an interim basis, but was confirmed as the head coach this Wednesday.
His appointment was delayed after the Sport Commission of Malawi asked the FAM to satisfy all the requirements in employing one for the job.
His first assignment will be a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier at home against Namibia on March 17 before travelling to Tunisia four days later.
Malawi are currently fourth in Group H, four points behind leaders Tunisia.
