OVER 300 participants turned out for the 2025 Masvingo Mayor’s Cheer Fund Marathon held this Saturday.
The annual event, organised by Masvingo City Council aims to raise funds to support underprivileged families and spread festive cheer across the city.
Runners from various age groups and backgrounds took part in the five kilometer, 10 kilometer, and 21 kilometer races, with the marathon also promoting fitness, community engagement, and social responsibility.
This year, the City Council is targeting to raise US$20 000 through the initiative.
