THE broadcasting fraternity and the nation at large are mourning the death of veteran broadcaster, Mr Dice Muvavarirwa, whose funeral service was held on Thursday at a funeral parlour in Marondera.
Mr Muvavarirwa passed away on Wednesday at Marondera Hospital following a long battle with prostate cancer.
Family members described the late broadcaster as a loving father, a hero and a legend whose contribution to the media industry will be forever remembered.
Mourners are gathered at the family home at 16 Nhika, Yellow City suburb in Marondera, where the body is lying in state. A church service is scheduled for Friday at 11am at Rusike Catholic Church, with burial to follow on Saturday in Chiweshe.
Mr Muvavarirwa is survived by his wife Jacqueline, nine children and 12 grandchildren.
