ZIMBABWE international fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has been handed a two-year ban from the Pakistan Super League.
Muzarabani had agreed in principle to join Islamabad United for around US$40 000 as a replacement for Shamar Joseph, but later pulled out before formalising the deal.
The towering seamer opted for a more lucrative move to the Indian Premier League with Kolkata Knight Riders, where he is set to earn over US$150 000.
Muzarabani is, however, not the only player to have agreed terms with the Pakistan Super League before switching to the IPL.
Sri Lanka T20 captain Dasun Shanaka also signed with Lahore Qalandars but later joined Rajasthan Royals as an injury replacement for Sam Curran.
The Pakistan Super League has indicated that there will be an inquiry into that matter, but no sanction has been announced yet.
