THE Zimbabwe Republic Police has launched a manhunt for a suspected armed murderer who shot three people dead this Friday afternoon in Hwedza.
Villagers in Negombwe under Chief Ruzane in Hwedza are in shock after an unidentified man ran amok and shot three people in Hwedza.
According to the Police, the suspect first went at an Apostolic Faith shrine where he allegedly shot a Prophet before shooting two Police officers one of them being the Officer in charge at Hwedza Police Station.
The officers were trying to arrest the suspect when the incident occurred.
The Officer in Charge died on the spot while the other officer is battling for life.
After shooting the Police officers, it is alleged the suspect proceeded to Mukamba business centre where he shot dead another victim.
This incident was confirmed by the Zimbabwe Republic Police National Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi.
