A 43-year-old man from Zvishavane has been remanded in custody for allegedly raping a 13-year-old mentally-challenged girl.
Allegations are that on March 25, the accused person Nicholas Mangenje, visited the complainant’s house and took advantage of the minor, who was left alone, rapping her once.
Luck ran out for the accused after a neighbour who saw the shameless act reported the matter to the police.
Mangenje was remanded in custody to April 29 for trial continuation.
