SUNGURA music legend, Alick Macheso is set to release his 13th studio album titled “Kupa Kuturika” this Friday at the Alex Sports Club in Harare.
The album features six tracks: “Kuverengera”, “Undiregererewo”, “Zvichada Hama”, “Murangarire”, “Kunditaya”, and “Hunhu Hwakashata.”
Macheso’s publicist, Tichaona Makahamadze, confirmed that all is set for the much anticipated launch.
The album launch features a star-studded lineup of supporting acts which include youthful musicians Saintfloew, Andy Muridzo, songstress Feli Nandi, Enzo Ishall, and the Chillspot Records.
Macheso’s sons, Esau and Tatenda, who lead the Cheso Boys band are also part of the supporting acts.
Macheso has over the years proven his musical prowess after having released 12 other albums which include “Magariro” (1998), “Vakiridzo” (1999), “Zvido Zvenyu Kunyanya” (2003), “Ndezvashe-eh” (2007), “Tsoka Dzerwendo” (2016), and “Dzinosvitsa Kure” (2018).
