Zimbabwe junior swimmers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure they are ready to compete with the best at continental level.

After getting feedback from clubs on individual performances ahead of the Africa Aquatics Junior Championships, Zimbabwe Swimming believes the team has a promising cast of swimmers.

“Our provinces are doing a lot at the moment running provincial championships in their inter clubs from the beginning of the season untill the end. We are doing well with the juniors and most of them went to participate at the AUSC region five games and brought medals and it was our first time to field juniors so this is the team we are targeting 2028. I am hoping will brings us the results we want,” said Zimbabwe Swimming Chairperson, Zanele Nkomazana.

Zimbabwe Swimming has a strong 16-member delegation comprising eight girls and an equal number of boys that will compete at the Africa Aquatics Junior Swimming championships in Mauritius from the 6th to the 9th of December.
