Jowa Clinic commissioned

VILLAGERS of the Jowa area in Tsholotsho North, Matabeleland North Province are celebrating development in the area following the commissioning of a clinic constructed using devolution funds.

The days of walking long distances to seek medical attention are over in Jowa and surrounding communities in the Tsholotsho North constituency following the commissioning of a devolution-funded clinic.

The development comes as a huge relief for villagers.

Conceived as a dream many years ago, the government chipped in by availing Devolution Funds to ensure the completion of the project.
The Second Republic says it will not renege on its promise to leave no one and no place behind.

“This is the continuation of the goal to leave no place and no person behind as enunciated by President Mnangagwa, the government will continue to develop all areas where there are needs,” said Matabeleland North Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Richard Moyo.

Under the Devolution Programme, the clinic has been equipped with modern equipment and a solar-powered borehole, while staff houses have also been constructed.
