THE High Court is set to hear an application made by aspiring ZIFA presidential candidate Temba Mliswa this Tuesday.
Mliswa is among the five candidates who were disqualified by the ZIFA Electoral Committee after falling short of the association’s eligibility criteria.
He is challenging the election process as well as the validity and legitimacy of the new ZIFA statutes that are being used to run the upcoming ballot set for this Saturday.
The court application was transferred from Bulawayo High Court to Harare.
The matter will be heard before Justice Tawanda Chitapi, who is also handling a similar nature lodged by another disqualified ZIFA presidential candidate, Walter Magaya.
