A mouth-watering clash is on the cards at Gibbo stadium in Triangle this Saturday when ambitious Harare based side Herentals clash with equally determined new boys Green Fuel gunning for their first set of three points this season.
Herentals are hoping for redemption after getting their campaign underway on a losing note following a one-nil defeat to Triangle last week.
With hopes to put behind the disappointing phase behind them Herentals who were in top form last season are hoping to take advantage of the inexperience of new boys Green Fuel.
It has not been an easy start to the season for the Students who have to once again make the long journey to Triangle as Green fuel are using Gibbo stadium as their home ground.
Herentals coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva is confident that his charges will grind a positive result at what is technically a neutral venue.
Mutiwekuziva noted, ‘We are facing the new boys in the league and it’s an advantage because we are now seasoned and they are new. I think more pressure is on them than us because we have a taste of Premier league football unlike them so my boys have to be confident and also we will be playing at a neutral venue which they are not based in we are all travellers so going into this match we have to come back to a good campaign.’’
Meanwhile Herentals’ new signing Blessing Phiri who was snapped up from Black Rhinos is expected to feature in the match.
Herentals also roped in Joseph Chitawa from their Under 20 developmental side and transferred Wilmore Chimbetu to Dynamos while Denzel Chimwemwe left for England.
