CASTLE Lager Premier Soccer League log leaders Hardrock FC and football giants Dynamos FC are set to appear before the Premier Soccer League (PSL) disciplinary committee this Tuesday following the abandonment of their league match at Chahwanda Stadium on May 24.
The two clubs are facing a number of charges relating to the incident, including allegations of causing the abandonment of the fixture in breach of PSL rules and regulations.
Suspended Hardrock FC Chief Executive Officer, Kudzanai Hove, has also been summoned to appear before the disciplinary committee on allegations of causing and participating in the disturbances that led to the abandonment of the match.
In a statement, PSL Communications and Media Liaison Officer Kudzai Bare said the disciplinary proceedings will proceed despite Dynamos FC’s request for the establishment of an independent board of inquiry to investigate the matter.
“The two clubs are accused of causing the abandonment of the game, disrupting the normal proceedings of the match, pitch invasion, acts of violence and malicious damage to property. Hardrock FC also faces an additional charge of failing to provide adequate security for the fixture,” said Bare.
The disciplinary hearing is scheduled to take place at the PSL offices at 5:30 PM, where the league is expected to hear submissions from all parties involved before determining the way forward.
The abandoned fixture has remained one of the most talked-about incidents of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, with concerns raised over crowd control, security arrangements and the conduct of officials and club representatives during the match.
The outcome of the hearing is expected to have significant implications for both clubs, particularly as Hardrock FC continue their push at the top of the league standings while Dynamos seek to improve their position in the championship race.
The PSL has consistently maintained its commitment to upholding discipline, safety and the integrity of the game, with the disciplinary committee expected to assess the evidence presented before handing down its ruling.
