IN a bid to strengthen youth empowerment and foster economic participation, the Deputy Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training, Honourable Kudakwashe Mupamhanga recently engaged with the leadership of CZA Vadzidzi vaJesu Church.
The engagement marks a significant step in building a collaborative partnership between the ministry and the church, with a shared focus on equipping young people with vocational skills and opening doors to opportunities in key economic sectors.
Key discussion points focused on providing vocational skills training for young people and capacitating them to participate in sectors such as mining, agriculture and other economic activities.
The CZA Vadzidzi vaJesu Church has been heavily involved in youth development programmes at its headquarters in Madziwa.
The successful implementation of the collaboration is expected to positively impact youth empowerment, starting with Goora and Madziwa, and eventually scaling up to the national level.
