GOVERNMENT ministries, departments and agencies have been implored to integrate the whole of government approach in executing their mandate with collaboration identified as critical towards the attainment of Vision 2030.
The Minister of State for Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Marian Chombo, reiterated this, while addressing heads of government departments and agencies in Chinhoyi on Wednesday.
“His Excellency, the President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa has consistently emphasised the government’s unwavering commitment to development,” she said.
“In alignment with this vision, our focus must transcend the mere reporting of tasks and activities, instead, we must prioritise tangible results, measurable outcomes, and lasting impacts. Let us shift our narrative to highlight the transformative effects of our interventions on the development of our Province.
“Achieving these results demands relentless hard work and an unyielding stance against corruption. Together, through integrity and diligence, we can realise sustainable economic growth, not just for our Province, but for our Nation as a whole. I urge us to refine our approach by clearly outlining targets. This will enable us to track progress with precision and ensure accountability.
“Through the unwavering cooperation of all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, Vision 2030 is not just a dream it is an achievable reality. The Second Republic has dismantled the barriers of silo mentality, urging us to embrace a unified, whole-of-government approach in our daily endeavours,” she said.
