OUTGOING United Nations Development Programme Resident Representative Mia Seppo has expressed gratitude to the Zimbabwean Government for the support it continues to render the international body in developmental support.
Emerging from a closed-door meeting with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Ambassador Fredrick Shava at his Munhumutapa Offices in Harare this Monday, the outgoing UNDP resident representative said the continued support by Zimbabwe to the body’s developmental work in the country yields positive results in various socio-economic platforms.
“I had the pleasure to meet the foreign minister and expressed gratitude to the support by government in our various developmental projects and it is promising. We also discussed the 2023 harmonised elections and agreed that developmental projects should continue for the benefit of all people,” she said.
Ms Mia Seppo has been on a tour of duty in Zimbabwe for the past year.
