A funeral parade for Group Captain Patrick Jeke who died in Harare this Thursday has been held at Manyame Air Force Base.
It was a sombre atmosphere at Manyame Air Force Base as friends and family gathered at the Parade Square to bid farewell to one of their own, the late Group Captain Patrick Jeke who succumbed to long illness at a local hospital this Thursday.
Chief mourner, Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) Chief of Staff Operations Air Vice Marshal Biltim Chingono said the AFZ and the entire ZDF has lost a dedicated officer.
Colleague and family spokesperson Group Captain Pius Ndou said Group Captain Jeke has left a void which will be difficult to fill.
“He was such a loving man and the void he left will be difficult to fill,” Group Captain Ndou said.
Group Captain Jeke will be buried at Benga farm in Kadoma this Saturday.
